Mary K. Talbot’s professional experience includes serving as director of public relations for Citizens Bank, as director of marketing and communications for the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, as director of communications for the lieutenant governor of Rhode Island and as a vice president/senior account executive at two regional full-service marketing agencies before working as a consultant.

Talbot has more than 20 years of experience promoting the people, products and personality of the organizations for which she works. She has consulted on a wide range of PR challenges for such respected institutions as Rockland Trust Bank, Middlesex Savings Bank, Westerly Hospital, YMCA of Greater Providence, and the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. She offers expertise in community relations, crisis communications, marketing communications and media relations.

Talbot has been honored with the Boston Ad Club’s Hatch Award, and has been recognized by the Publicity Club of New England with numerous Bell Ringer Awards.

In addition to her full-time position, Talbot serves as secretary of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts; as an advisory board member for Perishable Theatre; and as co-chair of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Parent Advisory Council, as a member of the executive planning committee and as a corporator for Women Infants Hospital in Rhode Island.
