Our History

We at the Mayforth Group have spent our careers working with elected officials in both state and federal government. We have extensive knowledge of how government operates and the people who affect legal changes here and in Washington.

When we decided to incorporate, it was only natural to name ourselves after a defining moment in the history of our democracy. It was May fourth, 1776, when Rhode Islanders stepped forward and declared their independence from Great Britain. More than 200 years later, the commitment to independence and to the democratic process that motivated our forefathers continues to inspire us at the Mayforth Group today.

What we Do

The Mayforth Group successfully pursues many city, state and federal projects throughout the country. As a government relations firm with contacts around the United States, we help our clients cut through government bureaucracy by setting up meetings and establishing relationships with the proper decision makers at all intergovernmental levels.

We use our policy experience to adequately link our client's work with current laws and regulations that deal with all aspects of government. Lastly, we at the Mayforth Group use our extensive knowledge of the federal and state appropriations process, as well as grant programs, to provide the necessary resources for our clients' specific projects and business development.
